Brooks Brothers and Prince Unveil Limited-Edition 1990s Tennis Capsule Ahead of Wimbledon 2025

Just in time for the world’s most prestigious tennis tournament, Brooks Brothers and iconic sportswear brand Prince have teamed up to launch a bold, limited-edition tennis capsule collection that channels the electric spirit of 1990s tennis culture. With Wimbledon 2025 set to kick off on June 30, this exclusive menswear line is already turning heads for its striking blend of vintage style and modern streetwear edge.

The collection boasts 27 carefully curated pieces, including polos, rugby shirts, graphic tees, and track sets — all designed to deliver peak performance and effortless style both on and off the court. Prices range from an accessible $24.50 up to $178, making it a must-watch for shoppers seeking authentic, retro-inspired athletic wear.

Ken Ohashi, CEO of Brooks Brothers and Eddie Bauer, highlights the significance of the collaboration: “This partnership represents a unique fusion of heritage, sport, and lifestyle. Brooks Brothers has a storied tennis history stretching back over a century, and our ongoing relationship with the International Tennis Hall of Fame remains a source of pride. Every Hall of Fame inductee receives a custom Brooks Brothers blazer — this year’s honorees include the legendary Bryan Brothers and Maria Sharapova. Joining forces with Prince allows us to elevate our sportswear offering at a time when performance and fashion are booming categories for us.”

Michael Bastian, Brooks Brothers Creative Director, added insight into the capsule’s design inspiration: “We dove deep into 90s tennis culture, a time when the lines between streetwear and tennis fashion blurred. Prince was at the forefront of bold color blocking and oversized logos, which resonated strongly with Brooks Brothers’ classic silhouettes. This capsule captures that nostalgia with a fresh, modern twist.”

Authentic Brands Group, the powerhouse behind this collaboration, acquired Prince in 2012 and Brooks Brothers in 2020. With a portfolio boasting over 50 iconic brands such as Reebok, Champion, and Sperry, the company is no stranger to marrying heritage with innovation. Its recent launch of the Authentic Luxury Group in partnership with Saks Global signals continued momentum in premium, trend-forward collaborations.
